Both the satellite and radar loops show the coastal surface low has moved inland. What is left is the upper circulation that is producing passing showers and this will be the case through Saturday. There will also be some brightening of skies during Saturday and even a break or two of sun would not be a surprise. Temperatures tonight will be in the 40s to near 50 and highs Saturday should reach the lower 60s in most places.
Sunday morning (Mother’s Day) we get a cold front with a few early showers but I think we should go partly sunny from mid morning on. Temperatures will rise to the mid and upper 60s with a gusty wind. Monday looks good from here with sunshine and highs up close to 70 except where the sea breeze takes hold in the afternoon and evening.
