WEEK AHEAD FORECAST MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26 THROUGH FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30
After last nights rough weather with showers and thunderstorms, a much calmer week lies ahead for Long Island. We are looking at sunshine to start today (Monday) with highs reach the low and middle 70s. There are no major issues as we have a cold front to the east and low pressure to our north. Upper air disturbances will be move through with a few clouds. There is an outside chance of a passing shower this afternoon. Tuesday we are going to see partly sunny skies with highs 70 to 75.
Wednesday through Friday a strong high builds into the Great Lakes and Northeast. This will mean sunshine for Wednesday through Friday with highs in the low 70s Wednesday and highs Thursday and Friday will be mostly in the 60s.
