Weather in 5/Joe & Joe Weather Show Latest Podcast
After seeing snow over 3 consecutive days from the last storm, I’m sure there won’t be much complaining if the next weather system for Monday is rain. A cold front is headed our way that is fast moving. Ahead of it we are seeing clear skies for at least part of tonight before clouds roll in after midnight. Temperatures by morning will settle in the 20s and then probably rise close to freezing by sunrise or shortly after that.
Nothing is on the regional radars but expect precipitation to develop to the west in Pennsylvania overnight. Look for precipitation to arrive Monday around mid to late morning. By then temperatures will be in the upper 30s to near 40. It should be rain even from the get go. The rain ends in the late afternoon. Look for a quarter to a half inch of rain from this system.
Weather conditions improve Monday night and Tuesday should see some sunshine with highs in the 40s. Wednesday could be a nice mild day with highs reaching into the 50s if we see some sunshine and if the sea breeze behaves itself. A cold front passes late Wednesday but it won’t have much with it other than clouds and the outside chance for a passing shower in the late afternoon and evening.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
