We are setting up for a typical spring weekend for the last weekend of April. We will be on both ends of the spectrum as far as temperatures are concerned with highs reaching the 80s on Saturday and highs only in the upper 50s and lower 60s on Sunday. The difference between a west wind (Saturday) and an east wind (Sunday) is 180 degrees and it is going to make a 20 degree or more temperature change between the two days.

Low clouds this morning were a much thinner deck than yesterday so sunshine is coming back rather quickly this morning and we should see that continue through the afternoon. Clouds in the Ohio Valley will move in tonight. During the early morning hours around daybreak or so there could be a downpour or a thunderstorm as an upper air disturbance goes by. Then it is a very warm Saturday indeed with even areas along the south shore getting close to 80 before any sea breeze or wind shift to the east.
Sunday will be much cooler though with an east wind..clouds and some sun as highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. A strong cold front approaches on Monday with the threat for late day and nighttime showers and thunderstorms with highs back into the 70s.
