Warming Up Into Thursday
We are seeing a nice cool air mass that has built in to the northeast. It has given us a nice cool Halloween. Tonight is setting up to be at least partially clear tonight. Some clouds might pass through from time to time. As winds drop off, we could see some frost in Suffolk County tonight so a Frost Advisory is in effect.
Pockets of Suffolk County have seen their first frost so if winds drop off this should finish things up as far as the growing season is concerned. We are still waiting for frost for Nassau County.
Radars are quiet and will remain so into Thursday. Look for sunshine and clouds on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will reach 55 to 60 Tuesday afternoon and 60 to 65 on Wednesday. Thursday could be a repeat performance of yesterday with warm temperatures in the 70s and some sunshine before a cold front moves through Thursday night. Some showers and downpours could move in Thursday evening but they should be done by Friday morning. Then its cooler and dry again for Friday and into next weekend.
