It has been a terrific day of weather across Long Island with blue skies and sunshine and just a few passing clouds. Temperatures are in the upper 70s to lower 80s, humidity levels are very low, and there has been a nice breeze all day long. There are no issues this evening or tonight as skies will be clear with lows in the lower 60s on average and in the 50s in many cool spots. Regional radar remains very quiet. The satellite loop shows some clouds streaming eastward out of the midwest but these clouds will probably pass just to our south on Sunday.

No issues on the local radar are indicated. There will a disturbance going by to our south Sunday and there might even be some light rain showers showing up on the radar over Southern New Jersey but I don’t this is an issue for us. Sunday look for a fair amount of sunshine and highs again in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
MONDAY 4TH OF JULY OUTLOOK
Monday is the 4th of July and we see more of the same. Sunshine and dry. Temperatures in the lower 80s for highs, low humidity and local sea breezes all make for a fine finish to the holiday weekend and no issues Monday evening for any local fireworks. Enjoy the weekend.
