Morning Low Clouds Fog Next 2 Days
Weather conditions have improved somewhat today with some sunshine filtered through some clouds. The problem is the frontal boundary offshore is close enough to through back some moisture and the push of dry air to the north is more east than south. This is creating a weak onshore flow but not strong enough to lock us in clouds all day long. Temperatures are in the 60s this afternoon which gives it a nice pleasant early May day.
US SATELLITE
Even though the frontal boundary is close, there are no showers any where close on the radar and showers shouldn’t be an issue here into Thursday. The next two nights and mornings will bring some low clouds and fog backing in from the east with nighttime lows in the 40s to low 50s.
TUESDAY MAY 8, 2018 MORNING LOW CLOUDS FOG
WEDNESDAY MORNING LOW CLOUDS FOG MAY 9, 2018
Both Tuesday & Wednesday the clouds should burn off to mostly sunny skies. Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the 60s to near 70. We may actually may be able to push into the lower 70s on Wednesday.
Thursday brings a front and a south wind so look for more clouds which will likely keep temperatures in the 60s and even the 50s along the immediate coast. A few passing showers are possible Thursday night with a cold front followed by dry air for Friday and Saturday. Mother’s Day Sunday will bring warmer air and if the wind behaves itself we could be pushing 80 or so. Much of next week could be on the warm side depending on how much cloud cover and the wind direction. There may be also more opportunities for showers.
