Very Chilly Mid May Air Sunday & Monday
With regards to Long Island weather for the next 2 days it looks pretty straight forward. Satellite loops and weather models all pretty much line up with the idea that dry air from New England and Upstate NY will be moving its way southward tonight and that we should see nothing worse than a mix of sun and clouds for Thursday. If enough dry air gets in here we could go mostly sunny over the next 2 days.Temperatures should reach 65 to 70 both Wednesday and Thursday.
The only issue for Thursday will be a wind off the ocean and that could hold temperatures down in some places.
Now as we get to Friday that is going to be the first of 2 weather fronts coming through. This first front could see some showers moving in and even a few thunderstorms late Friday afternoon and evening.
