It is another good looking day on Long Island. We have a non tropical storm offshore. We also have Tropical Storm Danielle in the Southwest Gulf of Mexico moving inland. And we have a cold front approaching the Great Lakes.
Another Great Long Island Day Monday Forecast High Temperatures
We continue to sit in a nice sweet spice with lots of sunshine and temperatures that will reach the 80s inland Nassau and Northwest Suffolk County. Winds today will turn south southwest which will cool it off into the 70s this afternoon just about everywhere except maybe northwest Nassau County. No rain is forecast today and through much of tonight.
Radars are quiet today however look for some showers and a few thunderstorms to show up during the early morning hours on Tuesday. This front is going to get hung up a bit on Tuesday meaning clouds could linger through the day and another passing shower or two can’t be ruled out. Wednesday will be dry with some sunshine. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s Tuesday and upper 70s to lower 80s Wednesday.
