Lots of Sunshine Comfortable Temperatures
It has taken most of the day but skies are finally beginning to clear out from northeast to southwest across Long Island. We had a few showers that produced little rain. Now we will dry things out as the flow from Eastern Canada continues at least into the start of the weekend. Friday will be nice and sunny with just a few passing clouds. Temperatures will be in the 70s with a wind coming in from off the ocean.

There are no changes in the weekend outlook. High pressure will be in control from the north and it will gradually move overhead on Sunday. Look for lots of sunshine both days. Saturday’s highs will be in the 70s to around 80. There will be a sea breeze at the beaches keeping things cooler. Sunday look for highs reaching into the 80s.
Monday we will be watching low pressure to our south which may bring in clouds from the east and perhaps some rain though there is much uncertainty here. JOESTRADAMUS has more on a developing coastal low.
