Perfect North Fork Weather This Weekend
This weekend is the last weekend of spring. It is also Fathers Day Weekend. It is also the annual MATTITUCK STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL which is an awesome event on Long Island’s north fork in Mattituck. The north fork gets less attention than the south fork where the Hamptons usually sit front and center but this weekend, get away from the crowds of the south and head to Matticuk for a wonderful time of fun and of course STRAWBERRIES! The weather this weekend could not be more perfect for this.
Today we are enjoying lots of sunshine on Long Island and this will be the case all day long. The satellite loop shows the big vortex in Eastern Canada continuing to funnel down dry air and keep showers to the south away from us. Temperatures today will be in the 70s to near 80. Look for a nice sea breeze this afternoon developing at the beaches.

The only issue in the forecast is for late tonight and Thursday morning when we will have clouds and maybe a passing shower but the best chances for that will be in western areas of Long Island. Otherwise we should see skies go partly sunny during Thursday. Temperatures will be in the 70s to near 80. Friday will be mostly sunny with highs again in the 70s to near 80.
