Make it another day of lots of sunshine all day long with light winds and low humidity. Temperatures will reach the low to middle 80s inland and near 80 at the coast before the sea breeze arrives.

Satellite loops show clouds to the rest but the dry air from the storm in Eastern Canada continues to hold sway and in fact is helping to suppress the next weather system to our south. Clouds from this weather system will come in tonight and Thursday morning and there could be a passing shower to two with that. The best chances for a shower will be from New York City south and west. The dry air is so dominant that we could go partly sunny from north to south during Thursday with temperatures in the 70s to near 80. Friday to me looks partly sunny with highs in the 70s to near 80 as high pressure begins to build in from the north.

I think we are looking good for the entire weekend. Sunshine is forecast for both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be the cooler of the two weekend days with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s with low humidity. Sunday Fathers Day we will see lots of sunshine with highs at least in the low to mid 80s. Monday could be sunny and hot with highs reaching the upper 80s to near 90! No showers or thunderstorms are forecast for the weekend and through Monday.
Right now the tropics are quiet but there are two small possibilities to look at over the weekend and into early next week. Here is the latest outlook.
