FREEZE WARNING SUFFOLK COUNTY
We have a Freeze Warning posted tonight for Western and Central Suffolk County. Cold air is coming down from Canada as a cold front passes through. We will see a good deal of sunshine on this Veterans Day but it will be rather breezy with temperatures topping close to 60. Then the front moves through and down the temperatures go down for tonight.
FREEZE WARNING SATURDAY MORNING LOWS
We have a nice weekend ahead but Saturday will be the colder of the 2 days with highs only in the mid to upper 40s. Another cold night is coming for Saturday night into Sunday morning with lows again near or below freezing especially in cold spots.
Satellite loop shows just a few clouds with the weather front. To the west the weather across the nation remains quiet as there is virtually no rain or snow going on coast to coast.
Sunday temperatures will recover to the upper 50s to near 60 with sunshine. There is no rain in the forecast until perhaps late Tuesday as low pressure tries to move up the east coast though the system appears to be rather weak.
