We are beginning to see the back edge of the rain in New Jersey moving east so weather conditions across Long Island will start to improve from west to east later this afternoon and skies may actually clear out this evening.
Sunshine and nice weather will be with us Thursday into Saturday. The next chance of rain will be for Saturday night and Sunday.
