‘After a spectacular early Autumn day with temperature in the 60s and plenty of sunshine, we are setting up or a very chilly night of clear skies and light winds. Most lows tonight will be in the 40s except for near or above 50 right at the shore. Some areas inland in the pine barrens will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s by daybreak.
Satellite loop shows the next weather front moving into the Western Great Lakes so we should see a fair amount of sunshine on Monday morning before some clouds begin moving in during the afternoon. We will have another day of temperatures in the 60s to near 70. No rain is forecast through Monday midnight but we could see some rain moving in for the early morning hours on Tuesday.
The weather front moving through could produce a half to three quarters of an inch of rain. The rain should move out Tuesday afternoon. The weather pattern gets a bit complicated for the second half of the week and we could see some widespread rain depending on how low pressure develops offshore.
