Saturday the Bigger Threat
Before we address the severe weather threat for Saturday, we can enjoy the rest of today with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the warm 70s but there will be a sea breeze that will develop during the late afternoon and evening and that will take temperatures down off their highs but nothing anything more than normal. We should see temperatures drop back into the 60s.
Radars are quiet and should remain so through the rest of the day and for much of tonight. Clouds from the ocean will roll in overnight along with some clouds from the west as the first of 2 cold fronts approach. Temperatures tonight will settle in the 50s.

Friday we get the first cold front. The marine layer is going to be hanging around so as the first line approaches Friday afternoon, my suspicion is those thunderstorms will probably weaken as they approach and move through. Saturday however will be a different story as there will be no cooling marine influence. This should allow the second line of thunderstorms to hold together when they move through later Saturday afternoon and evening. Saturday morning into early afternoon should be dry with some sunshine and temperatures should reach the lower 70s before thunderstorms arrive.

All of this results in dry weather Sunday and Monday but it will be very cool both those days with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will just be in the upper 50s to lower 70s. We have more on the severe weather threat here.
