Long Island Weather Humidity Drops Sunday
Long Island weather this Sunday will be slowly improving as we move through the morning. A cold front is moving offshore. There are a few showers moving through this morning but nothing exceptional or noteworthy. Once the front moves offshore around 9 or 10am, we should see decreasing clouds and increasing amounts of sunshine as we move through the rest of the day. We should be partly to mostly sunny by lunch time. Humidity levels drop into the 50s. Sunday night under clear skies temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 50s in many locations.

The satellite view shows the front near the coast and moving east. Dry air is coming in behind it. This sets us up for a nice sunny couple of days Monday and Tuesday.

Temperatures Monday and Tuesday will top out in the 70s. Wednesday the next cold front approaches with the chance for showers. It will be warmer and more humid as we head back into the 80s. No big storms or even small ones are on the horizon over the next 7 days.
