LONG ISLAND FORECAST FOR SUNDAY LOOKING GREAT
Latest satellite and radar loops show the rain is long gone and weather conditions have been improving all afternoon. Now we can look forward to a night of clear skies and cooler temperatures as lows head down into the low and middle 40s.
Sunday is shaping up to be a terrific day with lots of sunshine. Temperatures will reach the 60s. There will probably be a sea breeze developing in the afternoon that will take temperatures down as usual after 2pm or so.

Monday will be much warmer with highs reaching the middle to upper 70s ahead of the next cold front coming down from the north. We should have partly sunny skies and showers will hold off until later Monday night. Tuesday we will see a change with the front coming through. Some rain is likely and temperatures will likely be falling as the day wears on. We will be in the 60s during the morning and then fall through the 50s and into the 40s by mid to late afternoon.
