Thunderstorms fell apart as they tend to do on Long Island until the water temperatures warm up to the upper 60s. The front is moving through and now we are setting up for better weather Monday. We should reach the lower 80s with a good deal of sunshine and just a few passing clouds. No rain is in the forecast for Monday.

Tuesday we have a cold front moving through and it comes just as Tropical Storm Colin is moving up offshore. The timing of the front is perfect as it will sweep Tropical Storm Colin out to sea.
There might be a few showers when the front goes by earlier in the day but nothing major. Another front passes through Wednesday early morning with a shower before we settle into a nice second half of the week.
Tropical Storm Colin is heading for the west coast of Florida. Here is the latest information on it.
