With regards to the beach weather this weekend for Long Island there are 2 issues. The first is whether there will be showers or thunderstorms and in my view while the chances are there for the late afternoon or evening, much of the time it will no worse than Partly Sunny. The second issue is wind direction and it will be more onshore over the next several days. This will keep beach temperatures in the cooler 70s during the daytime and possibly lower in the late afternoon and evening if the wind really kicks in. Other than that we should be in good shape.
