We are enjoying a very nice day of weather on Long Island. We have dry air coming down from the north and low humidity. Sunshine continues all day long with temperatures into the upper 70s to lower 80s.

There is also a very nice breeze today which is giving the air some extra added freshness. No issues tonight with clear skies and temperatures in the 60s. It is another night with the windows open and the air conditioning off. Radars are quiet and will remain so through Tuesday which looks like another day of sunny skies. Temperatures will be a little higher as we reach the low to mid 80s.

We tranasition over to higher humidity on Wednesday with sunshine and clouds and the chance for scattered thunderstorm. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
Thursday will be very warm with some sun and very humid with highs 85 to 90. There is a chance for thunderstorms in the evening as a cold front approaches. Other than this cold front there really isn’t much going on weatherwise this week.
The hurricane season will soon be revving up in the Atlantic and JOESTRADAMUS sees some signs that this could be a more active season though that doens’t necessarily mean more landfalls.
