Showers Onshore Flow &
Coastal Low Late Week Still On The Table
First things first are showers on the regional radar to the southwest in Southern Pennsylvania and Maryland. Those will make their way here later this morning into early aftenroon. The main band that is to the north will stay to the northwest of Long Island.

Otherwise it is a gloomy day with lots of low clouds patchy fog and temperatures today not out of the 50s.
The evening commute will see nothing more than a few passing showers and then a steady period of rain develops overnight..arriving around midnight or so and lasts through late Tuesday morning. From this we could wind up with up to an inch of rain which is a good thing.
Then that wave goes out and we get set for more clouds and the chance for passing showers on Wednesday. It is not looking like we will see much sun this week. We are still looking at the likelihood of a coastal low developing late this week just offshore. That will bring some rain and wind here. Right now models continue to lean away from a big noreaster which is good since Friday we have a new moon phase and high tides are likely. Coastal flooding late this week is a concern.
