We have seen 2 great days of weather here on Long Island. We have enjoyed sunshine and low humidity with temperatures today reaching back into the 80s. Now we will start to transition over to a more humid air mass for the next 2 days.
The satellite loop shows the weather system off the coast of Eastern Canada moving away to the northeast which allows the next weather system from the Great Lakes to start exerting its influence. There are no issues tonight with nothing more than a few passing clouds and lows in the 60s. It is another night with the windows open and the air conditioning off.

There are no issues with regards to the radar through Wednesday. Wednesday dayside will see some sun and clouds with highs in the low to mid 80s. It will start to feel more uncomfortable as the day wears on. Wednesday night we will see some downpours as a warm front moves through. Once those downpours are done, we will then see a very warm and humid Thursday with some sunshine. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s with the risk for a late day downpour or thunderstorm.

Friday we finish the week with heat but lower humidity. Sunshine and a northwest wind will bring temperatures up into the 90s (depending on how much cloud cover). I think you can tack on a couple of degrees to these numbers on the map.

Now for a quick look at the weekend, there could be some showers running around on Saturday but it won’t be a washout by any means. Sunday looks like a great day with sunshine, low humidity, and highs in the lower 80s. Sunday will definitely be the better of the two weekend days.
