Clouds Return Thursday Rain Late In The Day
With the frontal boundary just to the south of Long Island we spent Tuesday in the 50s all day while just 100 or so miles away in New Jersey it reached the middle to upper 80s! Severe weather was not an issue so now we wait for skies to clear out tonight. It may take awhile for that to happen as there is still a lot of leftover clouds to chew through. But I suspect by morning we should be a least partially clear. It will be a chilly night with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s with a raw northeast wind.

Wednesday Morning Low Temperature Forecast
No frost or freeze issues to worry about however as the wind will allow for some good mixing of the air at the bottom of the atmosphere.
Wednesday we are looking at a fair amount of sunshine even though clouds will be to our south and not that far away. Some may sneak in from time to time but as the day wears on they should sink southward. Highs will be in the 50s to around 60 with a northeast wind for much of the day.

Thursday we will see some early sun but then clouds will increase ahead of low pressure coming across the Ohio Valley and redevelops off the Middle Atlantic Coast. Some light rain or drizzle could get in here late Thursday and Thursday night but we will have to watch to see how far north the rain actually gets.
Friday we will still have an onshore wind which may make it tough to clear out. However we should dry out for Saturday with some sunshine. Then the next weather system approaches for Sunday and Monday which also looks to go by to our south. This means we may be back in low clouds again with the chance for some rain late Sunday and Sunday night.
