Snow Showers Bitter Cold Night
We are looking at an upper air trough moving through this evening and this is triggering off a few scattered snow showers. Once that goes by the core of this cold air mass will be in overnight and that means a night of clearing skies, slowly diminishing winds and temperatures that will bottom out in the lower teens and some areas will see temperatures in the single digits.
Radar shows the snow showers moving through. They are light for the most part and we don’t see any signs of a heavier squall developing.
Monday looks good with sunshine and highs in the 20s to near 30. Then temperatures will start to moderate Monday night and on Tuesday as a warm front approaches it looks like we will see rain developing during the day as temperatures rise into the 40s. The rest of the week we should see mild temperatures reaching into the 50s and no additional snow is forecast through Friday.
